Ingredients

Scale

Tea Base

  • 4 cups brewed black tea, cooled

Mango Blend

  • 1 cup mango puree (fresh or canned)
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener (sugar, honey, or preferred sweetener)

Instructions

  1. Brew the Tea: Brew 4 cups of black tea using tea bags or loose leaf. Allow the tea to steep for 3 to 5 minutes for a strong flavor. Remove tea bags or strain leaves and let the tea cool completely.
  2. Prepare Mango Puree: If using fresh mangoes, peel, chop and blend until smooth. If using canned mango puree, ensure it is well stirred and slightly chilled.
  3. Mix Ingredients: In a large pitcher, combine the cooled black tea, mango puree, and sweetener. Stir well until the sweetener dissolves completely.
  4. Chill the Tea: Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld and serve chilled.
  5. Serve: Pour over ice cubes in glasses, optionally garnish with fresh mango slices or mint leaves for an added touch.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness according to your taste preference or dietary needs.
  • Use freshly brewed tea for a brighter flavor.
  • Mango puree can be substituted with mango nectar if preferred.
  • For a sparkling twist, top with soda water just before serving.
