Ingredients

Scale

Turkey Patty Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds ground turkey
  • ¼ cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup finely diced onion
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, seasoned bread crumbs, finely diced onion, chopped fresh parsley, egg, garlic powder, salt, and ground black pepper. Use your hands gently to mix just until everything is evenly distributed, taking care not to overwork the mixture to keep the patties tender.
  2. Form Patties: Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball, then flatten it into a patty shape, approximately ½ inch thick.
  3. Heat Skillet: Add the olive oil to a large skillet and heat over medium-high heat until the oil shimmers.
  4. Cook Patties: Place the patties in the hot skillet and cook for about 2 to 4 minutes on each side. Flip carefully to ensure even browning. The patties are done when the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), ensuring they are fully cooked and safe to eat.
  5. Optional Cheese Melt: If desired, add cheese slices on top of the patties during the last minute of cooking to allow the cheese to melt.
  6. Serve: Cook in batches if necessary, removing cooked patties to a warm plate. Serve these turkey patties on buns with your favorite toppings or alongside a fresh salad or veggies.

  • These patties can be served as sliders or full-sized burgers depending on preference.
  • Leftover patties can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 1 month.
