Ingredients
- 1 cup dog-safe flour (such as oat or rice flour)
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (ensure it contains no xylitol)
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- Optional: 1 egg (to help bind, if desired)
- Optional: 1/4 cup water (adjust for batter consistency)
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the cupcakes.
- Mix Batter: In a mixing bowl, combine the dog-safe flour, mashed banana, and peanut butter. If using, add the egg and water to create a smooth batter. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated and form a thick batter.
- Fill Cupcake Liners: Line a cupcake pan with paper liners or grease well. Spoon the batter evenly into the cupcake holders, filling each about 3/4 full.
- Bake: Place the cupcake pan in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
- Cool: Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool completely on a wire rack before serving to your dog.
